So a few days ago I posted about laundry detergent well let's face it you can't have detergent without fabric softener. Again this is a recipe that I am able to use with my daughter and she has had no issues with it which is amazing. I've read about many different recipes on DIY fabric softener and this is the one I have been using for a while now and get great results out of.
What you will need:
An empty container (I used an old fabric softener container for this)
5 cups of HOT water
3 cups of white vinegar (I promise your clothes won't smell like vinegar)
2 cups of conditioner (whatever scent you want I always just get the cheap one for $1)
What to do:
Combine the hot water and conditioner in a big measuring cup or bowl until dissolved. Next you can pour your mixture into your container and add the vinegar. Close your container and shake it to mix it. There you have it it's that easy and cheap. I always use a downy ball however you can also just add this during the rinse cycle. I am looking into more natural ways but for now I am super happy with this. Please let me know what you guys think and what else you would like covered.
